The phone will be available in two RAM options – 2GB and 3GB and a single 32GB storage variant. The Lava Z93 will also get a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 512GB. The Lava Z93 Plus boasts of a large 4000mAh battery with no mention of support for fast charging.

For the optics, The camera setup on the Lava Z93 Plus comprises of a 16-megapixel (f/1.7) + 12-megapixel (f/2.4) + 2-megapixel (f/2.4) setup. However, the company hasn’t clarified if the secondary 12MP camera uses an ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front,  the phone gets an 8MP f/2.0 camera housed in the waterdrop notch.

LAVA Z71 SPECIFICATIONS

The Lava Z71 is powered by MediaTek’s Helio A22 Chipset. We know it’s an old chipset, but at least it has been made with the power-efficient 12nm process. Moreover, the handset flaunts a 5.7-inch HD+ panel which has a waterdrop notch serving as a house for the 5MP selfie snapper. Moving around to the back, we have a dual-camera setup comprising of a 13MP main shooter coupled with a 2MP depth helper. Still, on the back, we have an LED flash helper and the phone’s fingerprint scanner. That’s a point where the Z71 moves forward the competition, for instance, Xiaomi’s Redmi 8a, company’s sub $100 offering for the Indian market lacks a fingerprint scanner.

The processing power comes along with 2GB of RAM and 32GB storage which is expandable via the microSD slot. The handset ships with a 3,200mAh battery which unfortunately charges via an old micro-USB port. The software side is covered by Lava’s own Star OS 5.1 which runs atop of Android 9 Pie. Other specs include 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio and Dual-SIM support.
